Hardmode Update
We've been cranking away on Ulduar's hardmodes, and we've hung our hats on many of them.
We also finished up our 10-man drakes. Next on the agenda is a 10-man Algalon kill.

Yogg-Saron Down
Great encounter to finish a cool instance. On to the hard modes.

Ulduar is Here
After much anticipation, Ulduar has finally been released. Barring a few bugs on opening day, the zone has been a lot of fun so far. There's a lot of variety to the bosses and plenty of new mechanics to make the fights novel. Many of the fights have hard-mode triggers like Sartharion, so once we're done steaming through the zone, I expect a lot of challenges from the encounters' advanced versions.
Our most recent kill of the last of the four "Keepers" guarding Yogg-Saron, Mimiron, was quite the experience. Heralded as one of the best fights yet, Mimiron doesn't disappoint. It's a four-phase fight with a little of everything, including a splash of C'thun, Aran, and Vashj. The healing is already intense, and I can only imagine how brutal the hard mode is. I hear it has doomfires ... as if there weren't already enough ways to die on this fight.
Only one more boss stands in the way of Yogg-Saron, so it won't be long before we're working on him. I'm not sure what to expect but I hear its quite "insane".
We've also started collecting shards of the zone's legendary healing mace, Val'anyr. Details remain unknown about exactly how much nasty this thing metes out, but I'm sure we'll learn in good time.
Recruitment is still open for 1-2 ranged DPS (hunter/mage/warlock), so if you'd like to pour awesome all over these bosses in Ulduar with us and you're adept at dispensing murder, post an application.

Glory(ies) of the Raider
We've been on an achievement binge to finish both 25 and 10 man versions of Glory of the Raider to beat every aspect of the raid game before 3.1 hits. We started with 10 man Twilight Zone, which is a lot tougher than the 25 man version just due to the limited number of people you have to do so many jobs. Nonetheless, after an unsuccessful night of attempts with a mish mash DPS group, we put together an actual synergistic group and hung our hat on it that evening. We ended up with quite the chromatic stable of drake mounts:
Next up was Immortal. I still don't know how I feel about this one. Getting exactly one attempt a week in a zone plagued by crippling lag and weird bugs can lead to some ... unfair failures. The week prior to succeeding, our run failed when Commanding Shout wore off the instant Decimate hit on Gluth causing 5 people to explode. Fun times.
With our immortality on the books, a 6-min Malygos and a 20-man Naxx snoozer were the last stops on the tour for these 310'ers.
All thats left is to look forward to challenges ahead...
